iPhone 11 increased by 6.7%, iPhone 13 decreased by 6.3%

On December 20, iPhone owners were given the iOS 17.2.1 update (internal version number: 21C66), which primarily aimed at resolving incidents of high power usage. How much longer does this repair last the battery? A video comparing it in real life testing was recently uploaded on YouTube by the channel iAppleBytes.

Every iPhone that was used for testing was connected to the same wireless network, had its brightness turned down to 25%, auto-brightness turned off, and all other settings were kept constant.

Then, when the battery is fully charged, perform the GeekBench 4 test to observe how the duration decreases from 100% to 0%.

Three hours and twenty minutes is the battery life of the iPhone SE (2020).

  • The battery life of the iPhone 11 is 5 hours and fourteen minutes.
  • There are 5 hours and 44 minutes of battery life on the iPhone 12.
  • There are 6 hours and 58 minutes of battery life on the iPhone 13.

The results of the running score show that only the iPhone 11’s battery life has been enhanced after upgrading to iOS 17.2.1. There has been a 4.5 percent improvement in battery life and an upgrade to 3129 points from 2993 points (iOS 17.2) in the score. The iPhone 11’s score went up from 2993 points (iOS 17.2) to 3129 points after the battery health adjustment. There was a 6.7% improvement in battery life and an upgrade from 3024 to 3226 in the score.

Additional iPhone models have shown a decrease in battery life. One of these is the 6.3% decline in battery life seen by the iPhone 13, which went from 4460 points (iOS 17.2) to 4180 points. The battery life score of the iPhone 13 fell from 4,745 to 4,447 points after the battery health adjustment, representing a 6.3% decrease in battery life.
